QLogic(QLE8242) 이슈 관련

OS : Vmware esxi 6.0 U2

작업 내용 : Vmware 5.5 에서 Vmware 6.0 으로 업그레이드 후 Network 통신 불가. 업그레이드가 아닌 설치 시에도 통신 불가

발생 한 이유 : QLE8242의 Bug 로 인해 통신이 불가함. 아래 내용으로 해결 가능 함.

 

해결 방법

 

The current workaround is to boot the OS with the following boot option: intrVectRetireTimeMS=4000. This will cause ESXi to retire interrupt vectors after 4 seconds instead of the default value of 1 second. This option can be added to the /bootbank/boot.cfg file on the "kernelopt=" line.
 

# vi /bootbank/boot..cfg

 

Remember to copy the boot.cfg file from /bootbank to /altbootbank as well to ensure that the change sticks.

 

# cp /bootbank/boot..cfg /altbootbank/boot.cfg
 

Entering Shift + O during boot, when prompted, displays the additional boot options.
